He was born in San Benito, TX to Manuel and Margarita Machuca.
Survivors include his wife Griselda Machuca, daughter Amy Machuca from Denton, TX; former wife Juanita Machuca from Oregon; daughter Margarita Guadalupe Machuca from Houston, TX; daughters Estella, Josie, Blanca and Joann Machuca, all from Denton, TX; brothers Florentino Machuca from San Benito, TX; Israel Machuca, from Houston, TX; Manuel Machuca, Jr. from Plainview, TX; sisters Maria Elena Piñon, Maria Isabel Avila, and Rosalinda Rodriguez, all from San Benito, TX; and Delia Mercado from Rio Hondo, TX. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles.
