Alice Hill went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 14, at a local hospital.
Alice was born on December 21, 1915 to Bertram and Hattie Hill in Cheyenne, Colorado who preceded her in death.
Her only survivor is her niece, Terri Hill, of California.
During her lifetime, Alice was an active and very devout member of the First Presbyterian Church of San Benito. She served on the Board of Deacons, was an Elder and Clerk of Session, Officer of the Presbyterian Women, taught Sunday School and served as board member of the San Benito Food Pantry.
Alice worked for Smith & Reagan Insurance and later with the Department of Human Services.
There will be a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church, 566 North Reagan Street, San Benito, Texas on Thursday, August 18 at 11:30 a.m., with Ed Robertson officiating.
Those who were privileged to know Alice will miss her. Alice leaves a legacy of Christian service to her church and community.
