San Benito police reported a car accident that left at least one person hospitalized occurring on Thursday, May 5 at approximately 10:20 p.m. That’s when a Chevy Impala heading east off frontage by Ratliff Road allegedly lost control, causing the vehicle to veer sideways and hit two trees before going airborne and crashing into a house. The driver and the passenger of the vehicle were said to have been transported to a hospital with serious injuries; their names, ages, and medical conditions were not immediately available as of presstime.
