Three men were arrested on Thursday after a burglary was reported on the 26300 block of FM 803 in San Benito.
The call came into the Cameron County Constable Department Precinct 4 at approximately 1 p.m. in regards to a burglary in progress.
According to a Constable’s press release, the suspected vehicle was identified as a red Dodge truck, which was later spotted by Pct. 4 deputies in Rio Hondo traveling 60 mph in a 30 mph zone.
With the assistance of the Pct. 3 Cameron County Constable’s Office and the Rio Hondo Police Department, Pct. 4 deputies were able to stop and detain the suspects in the Dodge truck on FM 106 just west of Rio Hondo.
