A female student from San Benito High School was reportedly injured after falling out of a moving vehicle.
The incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Monday on Williams Road in front of the high school.
“It was an incident involving a child who had checked out of school with her guardian,” said Superintendent of Schools Antonio G. Limón.
According to police officers on the scene, the incident occurred after the student, whose name and age have yet to be revealed, got into an argument with her legal guardian after leaving the school. The girl allegedly became upset with the guardian, whose name and age have also not been revealed, and was trying to get out of the vehicle while it was coming to a stop. Authorities said the vehicle was still moving when the female fell to the pavement.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the female was treated for minor injuries.

Article failed to mention that there was also an infant/toddler in the vehicle during this incident. Was the baby in a car seat or was this child’s life put in danger during this fight between two women?
