Berta Cabaza Middle School student Jose L. Diaz and Juan Coronado of Miller Jordan Middle Schools have taken in table tennis classes to remarkable effect.
Both are right handed players who’ve practiced the two basic table tennis positions that they were coached on in their table tennis classes.
Juan often practices the ready position, which is an important base stance as all possible strokes must be easily reached. The feet should be shoulder width apart or slightly wider, knees bent, body leaning slightly forward and the weight on the front part of the foot to

provide balance and redness for movement. In this manner Juan is ready to cover both his forehand and backhand area on the table. There will be variations of the ready position in time as the players increase their knowledge of the sport and according to the style of play of the player.
