The final day of school proved to be a day of work for the San Benito Greyhound wrestling team and resulted in a convincing 52-27 win over Rio Hondo.
Allen Pope won his match at the 103 pound class and Chris Guerra recorded a pin at the 135 pound class for a win. Other pins were recorded by Mario Jurado (145), Vince Ramos (180) and Richard Chavez (285). Also recording a pin was Amancio Vasquez (171). For Vasquez the win keeps his record perfect in district matches.
Daniel Tapia won his match by a score of 8-6 at the 189 pound class and Marcus Puente won his match at the 140 pound class by a score of 9-3.
