Workforce Solutions Cameron has received a state level award at the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) 14th Annual Texas Workforce Conference, which was held in Dallas Nov. 17-19.

Workforce Solutions Cameron was awarded the Performance Incentive Award for “Lowest Percentage of Childcare Expenditures on Administrative/Operations Costs.”  The award included a $50,000 prize.

“That’s the first time that Workforce Solutions Cameron has ever won recognition or an award,” said Celeste Z. Sanchez, a board member for Workforce Solutions Cameron. “We are now performing at the exemplary level that the state looks for in giving out awards. We went from being one of the worst boards in the state to now being one that is being recognized with exemplary and monetary awards.”
