Vietnam veteran Jose Garcia of San Benito was a guest speaker Monday at the city’s Memorial Day ceremony, held at the Veterans War Memorial downtown on Sam Houston Boulevard. The event immediately followed a silent and solemn march – a procession that included Garcia and other local veterans who are shown here.
