OH-MY-GAR!

This alligator gar, measuring in at seven feet, seven inches, was caught by Leo Ruiz while fishing at a resaca in Los Fresnos on Saturday. Ruiz hooked the gar and harpooned it in the head. It took about an hour and a half and it took three men to pull it from the river. (Courtesy photos)
