The 2011 Cowgirl Competition as part of the Cameron County Fair and Livestock Show was held Jan. 15 inside Los Fresnos High School, the results of which had the Cowgirl crown go to Christine Nott – Town & Country 4H; First runner-up – Caitlin Lindsay – Los Fresnos FFA, Second runner-up – Rebecca Goad – Highland Hustlers 4H. Crowned Junior Cowgirl was Gentry McGee – Los Fresnos 4H; First runner-up – Tayler Mancillas – Los Fresnos FFA, Second runner-up – Morgan Waters – Riverside 4H. Petite Cowgirl went to Caitlyn Cruz – Los Fresnos 4H; First runner-up – Abigail Maldonado – La Feria 4H, Second runner-up – Jenika Martinez – Riverside 4H. (Courtesy photo)
