A San Benito man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl.
According to Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio, 60-year-old Juan Roberto Garza of San Benito has been accused of sexually assaulting the child, who the suspect allegedly had access to at a home located just outside city limits.
“What happened is that we got a call sometime last month about Garza, who had been molesting the child,” Lucio said Friday. “Pending an investigation, the child received a physical exam at the hospital which proved that the allegations were true.”
Garza was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault and arraigned by Cameron County Magistrate Judge Alfredo Padilla on Wednesday, when he was issued a $25,000 bond.
The suspect had previous arrests, one of which includes assaulting a police officer.
The victim and her four-year-old sister are currently in the custody of Child Protective Services.
It has been further reported that the six-year-old may have suffered years of abuse and that the four-year-old was also victimized. According to reports, the six-year-old allegedly told authorities that she had been urinated on her, subjected to pornography and was even sexually assaulted with a knife.

This is so dispicable…i hope he rots in jail…the death penalty would be too leniant for him in my opinion.
My heart goes out to these little girls. Where were her parents , I wonder. I can’t imagine how they must feel.
Especially if they trusted this jerk with them.
Give him the death penalty!
