Luciano “Chenira” Resendez Jr, 63, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on November 25, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Anita Juarez Resendez; and brothers: Jose, Pete, and Robert Resendez.
He is survived by his son, Luciano (Dalinda) Rodriguez Jr.; four grandchildren: Clarissa Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, Jose Ortiz, and Reynaldo Ortiz; brothers: Tony, Rudy, Ricky, Edward, and Ramiro Resendez; sisters, Consuelo “Chelo” Domanski and Florinda Mares; and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
