Tennis begins with love. Not just the score, but a passion to work hard and commit yourself.
Eddie Galvan, Jr., a recent graduate of San Benito High School, said, “I just love the sport, if I could get it as a job, I’d be happy the rest of my life.
Galvan, a true talent, has agreed to play for the Leopards at Temple College this fall. The team finished 11th in the nation this past year at the Junior College National Championships, San Benito Greyhound Tennis Coach Dan Hirst said.
Although planning to study Pre-Law, Galvan noted, “I am looking forward to play college tennis and have harder competition.” He added that high school tennis “was a great experience.”
