Members of the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings ballclub helped make the Sunny Glen Children’s Home a little bit sunnier.
On Friday, the children’s home was able to enjoy its day with three WhiteWings players and the manager. The WhiteWings wanted to show their appreciation to some of the children who volunteer their time by folding 2,000 tri-fold handouts.
Manager Eddie Dennis and players Jacinto Cipriota, Alberto Reyes and Eddie Dennis Jr. spoke with the children late Friday morning. Topics included their birthplace and baseball.
