The Treviño sisters have many students at San Benito High School seeing double.
Alejandra and Liliana Treviño, 27, are not just two math teachers who walk the same hallway at the high school… they also happen to be twins. But consider first that their bond exceeds whatever physical features they share.
Born in Matamoros, Mexico, the two attended the University of Texas at Brownsville, where both earned a Master’s degree and ended with the exact same GPA of 3.78. “We never had a class together, but we took the same courses,” Liliana said. “Where ever I got a ‘B’ she got an ‘A’, and where ever she got a ‘B’ I got an ‘A.’”
