The San Benito Lady Greyhounds were defeated in an upsetting first round playoff battle against PSJA North on Monday, 55-37.
The team played hard but seemed to come up short on defense, allowing many fouls and turnovers at the beginning of the game. They were found trailing PSJA North 19-18 at the end of the first quarter, with Sarah Hartman turning up the heat on offense.
At the end of the second, however, it would not appear the same. The team was then behind 32-22 as they began to grow tired and frustrated.
