Zuniga may serve SBFD as chief

City officials have yet to confirm if Capt. Raul Zuniga will take the reins of the San Benito Fire Department permanently.

A 27-year veteran firefighter, Zuniga is currently heading the department on an interim basis following the resignation of Operations Chief Severo Ochoa in December.
