A near catastrophic situation was diverted Monday evening when a tractor tanker carrying 700,000 gallons of gasoline caught fire in San Benito.
At approximately 6 p.m., San Benito police and firemen were called to the Industrial Park in San Benito, located on the 900 block of N. Williams, to extinguish said tanker.
