SAN BENITO, TX—Isabel A. Martinez, 104, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Retama Manor in Harlingen, Texas.
She is survived by her children: Ramon (Elena) Martinez of San Benito, Texas; Virginia Rodriguez of Chicago, Illinois; Martina (Raul) Preciado of Aurora, Illinois; Maria De Refugio Martinez of New Mexico; and Bernadina (Pablo+) Cerda of Stockton, California. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass of resurrection will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
