RIO HONDO – The students and staff of Rio Hondo Intermediate was paid a special visit by Army National Guard Specialist Ben Sanchez this past Thursday, when students and teachers were able to interact with the hometown hero.
Sanchez, who is a 2010 graduate from Rio Hondo High, was adopted by Intermediate and stopped by Thursday to get to know the kids.
