The Rio Hondo Bobcats earned all rights for the district crown after they defeated the Port Isabel Tarpons, in a game to remember for the seniors, clinching the 32-3A District Title.
With the help of a Zapata loss, the win over the Tarpons was just enough to avoid any tie-breaker that may have occurred in the district race.
