RIO HONDO – If the Rio Hondo Bobcats net the Port Isabel Tarpons this Friday, it could earn the black and gold the coveted 32-3A district title.
The only problem is the same can be said for the Tarpons, who will also be fighting for at least a share of the district crown.
So, it’s fair to say this is quite a big game, especially since both the ’Cats and Tarps have fought in what has become a rivalry game every year in contests that usually determine the district champs.
