It can be said that the best things come to those who wait.
That was the general feeling this past Saturday morning as assorted San Benito CISD board members, city dignitaries and the general public gathered for the Angela Gerusa Leal Elementary dedication ceremony.
The ceremony was a means to officially mark the opening of the new school, located on FM 732, as well as post-humorously celebrate the life of one of the district’s former teachers and school administrator.
