RIO GRANDE CITY – It doesn’t get any easier for the Rio Hondo Bobcats as they face one of four squads tied for first place in District 32-3A on Friday: the Grulla Gators.
Reeling after a 21-6 loss against the Zapata Hawks on Friday, the Bobcats (2-1 in district, 5-3 overall) will travel to Rio Grande City Friday to face the Gators, a team with the same district record as the ’Cats, Port Isabel Tarpons and the aforementioned Hawks.
