The 2011-2012 City of San Benito general fund budget, approved Tuesday by the commission, showed a return of longevity pay.
First, there were some revisions in the budget from what was previously reported in the News.
Total expenditures rose slightly from the previously reported $9,765,378 to $9,770,423, while total revenues also increased from the previously reported $9,765,377 to $9,770,423, leaving the city balanced for the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
