Church treats emergency crews on 9/11 anniversary

9/11 appreciation

The 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 reminded members of the First Presbyterian Church of the heroic and sacrificial actions of New York police, EMS and firefighters. Church members also expressed appreciation to the San Benito police and fire departments as well as EMS personnel for their readiness to serve the community in any emergency 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In recognition of as much, the church family brought many items to church on Sunday, Sept. 11, in which patriotic trays were assembled and delivered to the various stations in San Benito.
