Children, their parents and educators got a kick out of Tuesday evening’s San Benito Family Literacy Night Carnival, held at the Knights of Columbus Hall off Stenger Street. Authors Dr. Carmen Tafolla and Frank Brewster wowed the audience, of which reportedly reached over 100 in attendance, with readings from their children’s books, many of which were on sale.
