Hundreds of local citizens were in an uproar this week after six local teens caused nearly $50,000 in damage to vehicles during an early morning vandalism spree Sunday.
According to San Benito police, a total of 56 vehicles were damaged during the incident, which was allegedly caused by four adult males and two juvenile suspects. Shortly after 2:00 a.m. that night, police officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of North Dick Dowling in reference to several vehicles being spray painted, a press release stated.
Police say residents gave the description of a white pick-up truck with several occupants, which was located by a patrol supervisor a short while later. Once the vehicle was pulled over, police found 19-year old Kristian Guzman, 18-year old Abraham Cano, 18-year old Johnathan Aranda, 18-year old Derick Bujanos and the two juveniles inside, all whom reportedly confessed to the crime. The two juveniles were placed under arrest and released to their legal guardians. Their names will not be released as they are protected under the legal age laws of Texas.

These guys are weak, they were lucky it wasn’t my car because I would be able to protect my family by firing at them. Remember, everyone has the right to bear arms. Protect what’s yours, I know I am.
@WHY
They don’t know what hard working means Mr. Why. I am going to risk saying that one or all of these young future penitentiary candidates have no father at home and a mother that does not work and buys groceries with a Lonestar card. “That is so judgmental Marco!” No, actually it is from many, many years living on the border and working in the public school systems and gathering thousands of observations which then can be used to come to some sort of a conclusion. This is a by-product of the disintegrating family, the erosion of morals and values, and enslavement of people by the federal government. And our politically correct justice system will release them with little or no consequences imposed and they will do it again…
Today as I drove on bus.77 I passed a vehicle with spray paint all over it. An older gentleman was driving it I just felt so bad for him. What a bunch idiots that did this to him and many other people. I wonder if they realize how many hard working people they have hurt and now they now have to drive their vehicles with paint all over to work,drop their kids off at school or to attend church with their families in a vandalized vehicle
$250 dollar bail what a joke I would have charged each one for damages and have to pay each of the victims for the property that they destroyed and also charge the parents for not taking better care of these kids and knowing where and what they are doing.
