Mission aimed at finding photos of Vietnam veterans arrives in Cameron County

Four years ago, Hawaii resident Janna Hoehn set out on what she thought was a modest mission. After seeing a story on the news about the “Faces Never Forgotten” program for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, she sent in an old photo she managed to track down of a local man who had gone MIA during the war. Not only was that the first picture of Gregory John Crossman that the Wall had ever received, it sparked an idea that has led Hoehn on one of the most detailed, drawn out, and rewarding scavenger hunts ever.
After receiving the picture of Crossman, Jan Scruggs, the Founder and President of the Vietnam Wall, contacted Hoehn about finding photos of the other 42 soldiers from Maui County who had died in the Vietnam War.
