Olivia Ayala Juarez, 91, of Lozano, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Harlingen Medical Center. 
Olivia lived a full and happy life where she loved spending time with her family and caring for the plants in her garden. She loved singing, listening to music, dressing up, going shopping and make-up,as well as spending her days at her adult day care center which would often go out and minister at nursing homes. Olivia and her late husband of 50 years, Primitivo Juarez, who passed away in 1991, were both hard working parents, who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1986. They served to the best of their abilities and raised 11 children. Surrounded by her children, life ended peacefully for Olivia, passing from death to eternal life with Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Primitivo Juarez and daughter, Elicia Barker.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Guadalupe (Yolanda) Juarez, Lidia Rodriguez and Silvestre Quintero, Francisco (Ermila) Juarez, Antonio (Irma) Juarez, Adela (Arthur) Barnett, Vic (Linda) Juarez, Rosa (Fred) Chavez, Ana (Buddy) Gildon, Olivia (Martin) Partida, Martin Juarez; 38 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her caregiver of nine years Alicia Sauceda whom she considered a daughter.
Visitation was held Friday, February 19, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a holy rosary followed at 8:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral service was held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at St. Vincent De Paul Mission in Lozano with burial following at Anaquitas Cemetery in Rio Hondo.
