A STAR AMONG US- SBHS graduate hits it big with Grupo Control

Jennifer Degollado, 23, says she was just five years old when she “realized” her dad had hit the “big-times” as she watched him and his Norteño band “Grupo Control” perform in front of thousands at Walt Disney World in Florida. “That’s when I knew he had made it… He even performed on the same stage that N Sync performed on that day,” she recalled.
But what she didn’t realize was that a little over a decade later, she too would start to become part of that super stardom success.
“I remember I was about 16 and he brought me out on stage at Schlitterbahn South Padre Island. I sang the song, “Lo que mas quiero,” and got a really positive reaction,” she said.
