Imagine going out for an evening walk at a newly opened park only to be harassed by a boisterous group of kids. For Lily Nunez and her walking partner, that was just the start of what would eventually become to be a series of run-ins with a group of troublemaking teens, she says.
“When the park first opened, we decided it would be nice to go for a walk… well these kids were riding around in four wheelers on the soccer field and causing a good amount of damage to the field,” said Nunez. “We told them we would have to call the police if they didn’t stop and they started following us down the walking trail and telling us to get out of the park. We stood our ground and they ended up leaving us alone that time.”
