A local juvenile was hospitalized after stealing his mother’s SUV and then nearly crashing into a family outside a firework stand early Monday. According to police, after getting reports of a stolen SUV. a pursuit ensued around San Jose Ranch Rd. around 5 a.m. Monday, eventually ending with a rollover accident off of Sam Houston Street near a firework stand where a family was asleep outside in their vehicle. The juvenile, who was reportedly 15 years of age, was taken to the hospital, however the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time. The name of the suspect was also not released due to him being a minor.
