City Hall for All slated

The City of San Benito’s Third City Hall for All Meet & Greet community outreach event is tentatively set for April 11, 2024. The location has yet to be determined.

The second City Hall for all was scheduled for Thursday, March 14, from 4-7 p.m. at Kennedy Park Pavilion, 400 Freddy Fender Lane.

The City launched this initiative last month and plans to continue it throughout the year at various locations across the community, according to a City of San Benito press release.

“We wanted to take City Hall to the residents in their own neighborhoods,” said San Benito City Manager Fred Sandoval.

During the inaugural event, which was held on February 8 of this year at Fire Station No. 1, numerous residents had the opportunity to meet with elected officials, City administration and various department heads to discuss issues pertaining to City operations.

Representatives from other organizations such as Republic Services, which provides trash pickup to the City, were also on hand.

Future dates for this event are tentatively set for April 11 (as indicated above), May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, November 14 and December 12.
