LOS FRESNOS, TX—According to the Cameron County Sherriff’s Office (CCSO), on Sunday, December 3, 2023, Cameron County Sheriff’s Deputies made contact with a male subject waving down vehicles by the intersection of Hwy 100 and Old Alice Road in Los Fresnos.
The male subject was identified as Agustin Alvarado Hipolito who was allegedly carrying an 18 pack of beer. Sheriff Deputies determined that Alvarado Hipolito was allegedly intoxicated to the degree he was a danger to himself or others.
According to the CCSO, Alvarado Hipolito was on a roadway with heavy vehicular traffic and was not able to correctly provide Sheriff Deputies his identifying information or find a person who could take responsibility over him.
Sheriff Deputies arrested Alvarado Hipolito and transported him to the Cameron County Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center in Olmito pending arraignment.
