In an effort to help raise awareness for domestic abuse, the San Benito CISD held a training seminar on family violence at Dr. Raul Garza Elementary Tuesday morning. Nora Montalvo, an assistant professor at Texas A&M College of Nursing, gave the presentation in front of SBCISD security officers in an effort to educate them on any warning signs and how to approach somebody they believe is involved in any abuse.
