Hilda Acosta Trevino

Hilda Acosta Trevino entered into his Lord’s Kingdom on August 13, 2015.  
She was born December 2, 1938 to Julian and Elisa Reyna Acosta. To quote our mother, “My pride, joy, and riches on this earth are my four children, Elvira, Ruben, Lonnie, and Mary Ann.”
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Amado Trevino; her parents; and two brothers, Raul Acosta and Jorge Acosta.
She is survived by her beloved children: Elvira Trevino, Ruben (Helen) Trevino, Lonnie (Norma) Trevino, and Mary Ann Silva; her grandchildren: Smiley Amado (Cara) Garcia and Katherine (Adam) Cartwright; Jacob (Katie Fraser) Trevino and Sara (Brandon) Gomez; Meaghan Danielle Trevino, Travis Lonnie Trevino; Ectoria Serna and Joana Silva. Also surviving her are four great-granddaughters: Andria and Adrina Juarez, Isabella Hilda Gomez and Nadia Lizzette Cartwright, in addition to her two siblings, Yolanda Ramon and Ricardo Acosta.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Cremation will follow in accordance to her wishes.
