An 18-year-old San Benito man, who had been wanted in connection with a burglary from six months ago, was finally apprehended last Thursday night by the San Benito Police Department. According to police, Samuel Benavidez was picked up by SBPD after a Sherriff’s deputy ran his name and realized he had an outstanding warrant with the city. Benavidez was also being sought by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department for being a parole violator.
