The 14th Annual Conjunto Music Induction Awards will be held this Saturday at the Texas Conjunto Music Hall of fame. After a lack of funds prevented the Hall of Fame and Museum from having their annual Award ceremony last year, Ray Avila is more than eager to get the event back up and running this year.
Despite facing a minor setback when the original booked performer for the event had to cancel, help from the city of San Benito as well as a last minute agreement from inductee Bernardo Martinez Jr. made sure this year’s event would go on.
