If you’ve taken a walk down the Heavin Resaca trail lately, you might have seen a brand new gazebo being built over by the butterfly garden. Well, on Monday, city and school officials validated the display with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the hard work put in by the students of the Joe Callandret Positive Redirection Center over the past few months. “This project was all from the students. We as a city came in and helped with stabilizing and making sure it was built correctly but all the hard work was the students,” said San Benito Parks and Rec Coordinator Art Garza.

Awesome job kids…. but who’s that on the far right…oh I see..he had to call off a lunch date… photo shoot opportunity. He probably showed up about twice during the whole built. It still doesn’t make you an administrator..I TELL YA…!!! GREAT JOB STUDENTS, JALOMO, GONZALEZ AND ART…continue the awesome job.
