Maria Flores Garza

Maria Flores Garza, 79, a lifetime resident of San Benito, left us to be with the Lord on Monday afternoon, April 13, 2015. For those who knew her, they have lost a devoted, loving, kind, and generous daughter, wife, mother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her loving father Ramon Flores and the love of her life, her husband, Apolinar (Polo) Garza, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters: Rose Marie (Ruben) Aguilar, Diana Garza, and Nora Garza; the treasure of her life, her grandson, Apolinar (Paul) R. Augilar. She is also survived by her mother, Luz P. Flores; brothers and sisters: Carlos (Yolanda) Flores, Margarita Moratto, Reynaldo Flores, Elida (Ron) Huddleston, Omar (Patsy) Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral mass was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment followed at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers were Reynaldo Flores, Omar Flores, Carlos Flores, Jr.; Juan Torres, Ruben Aguilar, and Andres Martinez.
