With enough accolades to fill up a high school textbook, the San Benito Lady ’Hounds have easily become one of the most dominant sports programs in the history of the Valley. With countless District and Bi-District championships, numerous trips to the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight, and even making an appearance in the Final Four of the UIL Playoffs back in 2013, there is no questioning the longevity of their success. The unrivaled accomplishments of the past have only been bolstered this year by the Texas Girls Coaches Association ranking the Lady ’Hounds the 4th best team in the State, their second highest rating of all time.
