Annual 5K run event gets new home

The sixth annual Bumblebee 33: 5k Fun Run & Walk has been approved by the San Benito City Council to use city facilities, including the Heaven Resaca Trail and Amphitheatre at no charge. The Fun Run is the primary fundraiser for the Jessica Beth Garcia Memorial Scholarship which helps provide support to senior track athletes from San Benito High School as they look forward to completing their post-secondary education.
