LA PALOMA – On Feb. 17, members of Greendale Community Church UCC Mission Group (Greendale, WI) and Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries (Los Fresnos) teamed up with Habitat for Humanity of the Rio Grande Valley (Habitat RGV) to construct a new home for a family in need.

“We’re partnering with Greendale Community Church,” said Wayne Lowry, Executive Director for Habitat RGV. “Every year they come down to the Valley, and through a mutual contact, we were asked to help provide support for them.”

Family members consist of Andres and Rebecca, the parents of three children who both suffer from physical problems due to diabetes and are limited in daily living activities.
