Investigators with the Harlingen Police Department have arrested Carlos Cesar Andaverde-Ledezma, 23, of San Benito in conjunction with the murder of 19-year-old Eduardo Zapata of Weslaco.
Additionally, authorities have confirmed and released the true identity of another suspect who had also been apprehended and charged in the same murder. Juan Cesar Molina, 54 — a Mexican citizen with several known aliases, previously said to be 63-year-old Sergio Olivares — was arrested on Jan. 3 in connection to a shooting death the night before.
