Maria Refugio Serrano, 91, of San Benito passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on November 12, 2014.She is preceded in death by her sons, Juan and Conrado Serrano.
She is survived by her children Edwardo (Felisa) Serrano and Silvia Serrano, her daughter in law Esmeralda (Juan+) Serrano, 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. from 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Monte Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
