Sebastiana M. Gloria, 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Gumecindo Martinez and Francisca Aguilar on February 25, 1931 in El Matoral Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Gloria Ruiz; daughters, Maria Guillermina G. Wasielewski and Maria Leonor Summers; son Arturo Gloria; grandsons: Vicente Gloria II and Arturo Jaime Gonzales; four brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her two sons, Miguel Gloria, Jr. (Esperanza) and Vicente (Sofia) Gloria; five daughters: Maria del Carmen Rodriguez, Ester Gloria (James Musumeci), Estella Gloria (Gregorio Montez), Maria Magdalena Gloria (Duke Benavidez), and Gloria Gloria (Eliazar Gonzalez); 41 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito.Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
