Gilbert Jaure, 66, left to rest with the Lord on October 30, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents Pablo R. Jaure and Ambrosia G. Jaure, brother Pablo Jaure, brother-in-law Woodrow Ford.

Gilbert is survived by his wife Rosa and his sons Gilbert Jaure Jr., Pablo (Marissa) Jaure, stepsons Orlando Trujillo, Joe (Tamara) Fonseca from Iowa, five grandsons Gilbert III, Domynick, Nathan, Damien, Pablo Jr., Cameron Cain Jaure; granddaughters Brianna, Destyni Marie Jaure, and Rose Jean Fonseca; seven sisters Sara L. Bostian, Copperas Cove, TX; Rachel Ford, Athens, TX; Lidia (Billy) Lenoir, Westminister, TX; Mary Feemster, Dallas, TX; Ruth (Ike) Talamantes Jr., Lanaster, TX; Delia (Mark) Glassman, Allen, TX; BJ (Rodney) Harvey, Arkansas.

Cremation was follow under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home in Brownsville. A memorial service will held at the family residence on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.
