Nuñez to be honored as FFHA recipient

Rogelio Nuñez, co-founder of the Narciso Martinez Cultural Arts Center in San Benito and executive director of Casa de Proyecto Libertad in Harlingen has been named as one of four recipients of the 2014 Freddy Fender Humanitarian Awards.

Nuñez is recognized for his dedication to education through his lifelong work in his role as a research assistant and instructor at Texas A&I University, University of Texas Pan-American and UT Austin.
